So yes, you have guessed it, this is a thread for the show we are all sadly sadly addicted to, x factor. just say anything you want about the show, who was good, who was bad, who deserves to be shot *cough*jedward*cough* and what you expect for the weeks to come.

this week was rock week. so what did you guys think? who's gonna be up for the chop tomorrow night? i myself loved cheryl's comment about it being the first year with rock week and simon's first year with a rock artist :-)

That's actually so cool! i love jamie, have since the audition. like, how could you sing THAT song THAT well and not be number one in my books?!?

i was disappointed with danyl this week. he sang the whole first verse off key

Yeah, pretty cool Yes, Jamie is quite good, but it's still Joe for me. I mean, how many people can say they have been told that they are note perfect off Simon Cowell??

I wasn't loving Danyl's performance either. But what is the bets that John and Edward will live to see another round? Anyone?

My bet is that john and edward will make it pretty far, maybe even to the finals, but there is no way they'll win. people just wanna see how stupid their next one is gonna be. and it's horrible, cause someone who can sing is gonna have less of a chance because of them.

I heard in the papers the other day that John and Edward were actually only 0.5% votes away from being in the bottom two last week so you never know. Can't stand them because it is a TALENT competition, it really bugs me that people are voting for them.

I love Joe, Jamie and Olly, I would like them in the final 3. I felt sorry for Danyl yesterday because it was off key and he sung the wrong words in one part but I kinda feel like Cheryl is just plain nasty to him sometimes, I think she is just worried that he is a threat.

I thought Cheryl was out of order to Jamie too, she really annoyed me last night, I actually prefer Danni to her. That whole thing about 'Funny how we are having a rock week because you've got a rock singer' was pathetic, I think it's funny how they had a Mariah Carey week last year when Alexandra was in the competition.

Sorry for my ranting, as you can probably see I take this show very seriously

i hate john and edward. i'm always fighting with my dad about them cause he likes them cause they're "entertaining" but it's a SINGING contest.

sure aren't we all serious about it? i'm only after really getting into it this year. i usually just watch the auditions, cause they're hilarious! but i'm really into it this year

I had actually heard that they got like the top vote. probably wrong though. hopefully wrong :-)

The top vote thing was wrong, it was the Daily Star I think who wrote that. I know quite a lot of people who find it funny that I take the show so seriously, glad I'm not the only one then

I think Danyl could be in the bottom again and maybe Lloyd or Rachel. I wouldn't be too surprised though if John and Edward are in the bottom this week.

I'm looking forward to Bon Jovi because they are brilliant and JLS are good but they are not my style of music.

What did racheal sing again? ollie has actually been brilliant! my bottom 2 prediction is....
lloyd and i'm not quite sure. maybe danyl. he really can't take the limelight. the bad press is affecting him way too much and if he hopes to do anything involving singing in the future, he will have to learn to ignore it.

I was in the toilet for the first time of JEdwards performance and walked into the room halfway through it and started screaming at the TV the moment I heard them singing. What the hell were they doing mocking, yes MOCKING a Queen song. They need to be thrown out of the competition. If they were even remotely gracious they would leave the competition so that the actual singers aren't being thrown out.

I only really caught a couple of acts last night, so I've been rewatching them on Youtube. I think Danyl will be in the bottom two, for definate. I can't believe that people where booing Danni's comment when she was speaking the truth. I don't think he can take critism well, even if it is constructive, and the first half was terrible. He was in the bottom two, yes, but he's a performer, he should have just sucked it up and got on with the song. I wouldn't vote for him. His performance was stiff...I wasn't into it at all. And the look on his face when he was getting feedback off the Judges. It actually makes me want to punch him. Just take it then mope backstage, don't look teary-eyed on stage for sympathy. I don't like Cheryl Cole, but I agree with her.

However, I liked Jedwards performance after re-watching it. The singing was terrible, obviously, and they missed words out too, and if this wasn't a talent show, it would probably be good to watch. It wasn't so much Jedward that I liked, more of the dancers and the fire...basically what was going on onstage around Jedward was what I liked, not Jedward themselves.

But I thought Joe was fantastic, as always. But...what was up with them dancers in the background? I also don't agree with Simon about his performance being limp...but maybe I'm being bias?

I wasn't keen on Cheryl's dress either

I agree vampmaster, the fact that they are so thick skinned makes me dislike them even more. Rachel sang One by U2, I think she is quite good but I find her a bit over the top sometimes and slightly dull.

John and edward should be put in jail for doing that to a queen song. a QUEEN song. in my house, we're huge queen fans. my brother and sister and me doing bohemian rhapsody is hilarious, and we know every single word :-)

racheal's hair scares me to be frank

i've got this theory that cheryl had this button somewhere and when she gets too hot, she presses it and the boob-fans start flapping to cool her down :-) that dress was awful!

I thought lucie was fairly good singing sweet child o mine, but it would have been better if she had gotten into it a bit more.

i would have loved it if jamie had done sex on fire again, just to see what kinda theatrics they would have put on for it. and he was Brill singing it :-)

Plus I was sort of hoping Danyl would have been in the bottom two. His performance this week was worse that last week...so I think he should have been in the bottom two.

Racheal should not be leaving, there are people who are a lot worse than she is.

Woot!!! I'm so glad though I would have preferred for JEdward to go I'm at least happy about the fact that it was Rachel sent out. And I doubt he has swine flu... I wouldn't imagine him being allowed to perform if that was the case?

Also should this maybe be moved to miscellanous since it's not like detailed posts beyond 4 or 5 lines are going to be made about the x factor?
