I know. What a relief, eh? Personally, I wasn't too worried. But fans have been freaking out for sometime! Anyway, with Lost about to be over, I really didn't want to lose Fringe too!

Did anyone see that!?
"Peter" was the episode I've been waiting for; I barely noticed that Peter was absent the entire time. It was so good. John Noble blew my mind, the score was especially beautiful this week, and dammit, probably the best "Fringe" episode ever! WOW! Also, gotta mention the most amazing "Fringe" opening credits ever That was so cool.My favorite parts were Walter and his old lab assistant arguing about going to the other side, the whole scene at the lake where Walter has that rant, and then the entire last act where he is on the other side and takes Peter back. It was all so devastating. A tour de force for John Noble. Someone, please jump up and down with me now! :happydance ![]()

Ben-
I haven't seen it yet (actually watching it now). I just wanted to comment the cool 70's/80's intro to Fringe. I enjoyed that. Will post my thoughts soon.d\EDIT- Whew. I agree, good episode. Boy I couldn't stop crying. I think I'm going to get a headache. Noble was awesome and his wig actually looked real! Now that the slip in the ice was explained, it all makes sense. I thought it was interesting to see how Nina injured her arm. I feel for Walter. Though I am wondering is it his fault that the alternate realities are crashing into each other? I got this feeling that Bell found a way to break through before Walter did (re: his trip to Europe, not answering Nina's calls). Even if Bell didn't- I think he would have done what Walter did anyway- at least eventually and the worlds would still fall apart- trying to exist as one.Oh- and how funny in the alternate reality Eric Stoltz was in Back to the Future. Those writers- making a joke. ![]()

Who was the waitress (actress) at the cafe in the "White Tulip" episode? She looks familiar. I've seen her recently...

Well this sucks... Leonard Nimoy is "claiming" to retire. He says he's done with Fringe.

I saw that. Hopefully they can find a way to dispense of William Bell in a way that it won't hurt the mythology. That's too bad. I was never very happy about that casting in the first place. I really wish they would have gone with someone else. :/

I just finished a Season One marathon with a friend (I've convinced her Fringe is awesome- she now agrees). Anyway, if traveling to the other side is so dangerous and time consuming (finding soft spots, equipment and so forth), why was it so easy for Olivia to get there via elevator in the finale?

Or maybe I am remembering that interview wrong. :/ I'll agree that the elevator seems to be the point of transfer when watching the episode though. I mean, it certainly appears that way if memory serves. You might also hypothesize that the Cortexiphan (sp?) trials allows her to have easier access to the other side. That could also be a possibility, I think.
