  • OK. Sorta agree with Nebula.

A bit of a step down from last week, especially if you follow trailers and what's coming in the MCU you have a pretty good idea of what Sarge's origin is probably going to be.
Nice of Fitz to be obsessed with helping people, but still kill the boss and other part of the crew. this Fitz just got out of prison for 6 months and still freshly remembers the Framework so it makes since he wants to save them but The Doctor's darkness is still there too.
So Butterfly, or is it Snowflake?- is a weaker Drusilla schick so far, she apparently screwed up a mission resulting in Jaco and Tinker coming in early and Tinker fusing with the cement.
Even with his size and possibly not being from this type of atmosphere, Jaco stil lost and Pax got thrashed. I wonder who will turn on Sarge first?
Science guy wasn't exactly wrong when he went though SHIELD's history of creating bad things.
So do they just want lower level crystals like topaz and then use the ray gun to destroy the planet? Seems like a flimsy and wasteful heist.

    • This was a cool comedic one. Chloe Bennet said it was her favorite of the season.

Poor Enoch just wanting a best friend and then an existential crisis. Evil chrmocoms, interesting. Is it all still the Confederacy?

So Sarge laser wasn't to destroy, what did it count the population?

Not sure how I feel about this split still going on with only 13 episodes to begin with plus the descriptions of the next few episodes. The other half of each story only got the tag scene the past 2 episodes.

      Where the hell is Deke?

      • I loved seeing Daisy and Simmons high.

The promo for next week's episode shows Deke.

            • Finally got to see the season premier and thought it was pretty good. I didn't mind that it was still set in space, as they were looking for Fitz, which is a quest I thoroughly support. Felt for Simmons when she opened the coffin and he wasn't there, and when she climbed in and closed the lid. Fully support her taking unilateral control of their destination. Operation Find Fitz has to be top priority!!

Is Fitz now some sort of mutant or a junkie or . . . ?

Seeing Mack watching old holograms of Coulson was really sweet. I don't think he needs to, he seems like he knows what he's doing. I agree there is a lot of romance, and I understand they're laying the groundwork and setting up stories and relationships to create conflicts along the way. I like Marcus Benson, he's an interesting new character and I expect some lots of comedic negativity from him.

Coulson's entrance just put a big smile on my face. That guy is cool.

                • Marissa was great as Deke's girlfriend. And she hooks up with Agent Khan at the end!

Favorite episode so far. Deke's look at being Code Yellow, Mack's look of disgust over VR Daisy and the Framework, if you'd like to make a call please hang up, the dude running away on a hover board etc.

OK, WTF is the bat thing?! If it weren't for killing civilians I'd almost say Sarge's team were good guys for hunting it. Good effects though.

Not sure why Elena didn't use her speed and robotic arms to catch it in the first place but maybe it was meant to be tied with Mack's talk of bad judgment? Feel bad for her but a bit relieved at no love triangle honestly.

                  • Enjoyed Window of Opportunity (ep 2). Fitz and Enoch make a good team. I'm a big Enoch fan and nice to see him save the day.

Didn't like Fitz's 'cool cool cool' - sounded very Jake Peralta, but maybe he's a big B99 fan. Just felt like sloppy writing. Also not a fan of filming May's car upside down, that just felt goofy for no reason. But maybe it was to visually underline that this is about mirror/upside down worlds.

So Sarge is definitely genetically Coulson. This Coulson is very cool but also a little creepy. He also vaguely remembers his name, which is interesting.

May was bloody brilliant. I was annoyed at first that she forgot her training and didn't immediately attack 'Coulson', but I understand that perhaps only an hour earlier she's been told that this man was biologically her Coulson, which was playing on her mind. I'm hopeful she won't make the same mistake again.

                    • Heh Chrochrom sex metaphors.

Coulson gave me Edward from Twilight vibes "I liked watching you sleep" Lol

So our first possible link in that the shrike birds/bats may have destroyed the Chrochrom's planet.

The team is partly back together, if Fitz and Simmons succeed could a time travel method explain the lack of Snap? On the other hand the writing timeline in the real world between film and TV wouldn't really allow for that.

Space, time, could the 3rd be dimensions/realities?

Could Sarge really be a mind-wiped Coulson maybe?

I know I should be mad an Enoch but he did save Fitz and stil has a puppy-ish quality.

Poor Davis, everyone likes to rib on him.

                      • Enoch and Fitz's escapades have a Blade Runner feel about them, and are enjoyable. It was a nice twist to have Enoch lose at gambling, instead of always winning as a robot might have been expected to do. Also enjoyed 'the brothel' was not an option and the 'robot' didn't understand why that was. It was odd later that he wasn't comfortable with this level of intimacy when Fitz rebooted him. Maybe the Kitson brothels aren't about sex, or maybe he doesn't see sex, 'sensual gratification' and intimacy as the same thing.

I liked Jemma whipping out her mobi to show the alien customs officer a pic of Fitz. They're travelling through space, they are future-themed, and she's still got her Samsung handy, with pics of hubby on.

Now I get a friends banner! Jemma and Skye hi was fantastic and it gave them an opportunity, for a few minutes, not to be constantly talking about Fitz. I would not have laid on that club floor though, god knows what's on that carpet.

That guy in the casino bugged me, his voice seemed so familiar - was he in Buffy/Angel? OMG he's the guy at the Palace who asks Buffy if she'd like to look inside his ears! It's his voice. Just looked him up, his name is Douglas Bennett and the character on Buffy was called Philip.

Ep 4 - DEKE! He's become a gaming billionaire, with his mushroom pellets and his looks straight down the lens Sequioa's insta at the end was brilliant.

I had to google boba teas, which are actually bubble teas. They may contain tapioca, and that alone puts me right off.

Wow, you really know all the minor characters from BtVS?! I can't even remember what you're talking about, LOL.

I didn't get any Blade Runner vibes. Just Guardians of the Galaxy/Star Wars (original 1977 movie) from the storylines in space. And this episode was also obviously inspired by Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, but I've never seen it, I just have a general idea what it is.

The stuff on the ground has so far been much darker.

So, what's up with NotCoulson? Multiverse shenanigans? Weird temporal anomalies? Doppelgangers? Why did he seem to be repeating the same lines Coulson once said? May's scenes in 6x05 were really strong. SciFi shows really love that "character having to deal with facing a villain who looks exactly like their dead loved one" trope (see also: some of the latest episodes of season 6 of The 100), and it works really well. What an emotionally difficult situation.
You keep waiting for the dust to settle and then you realize it; the dust is your life going on. If happy comes along - that weird unbearable delight that's actual happy - I think you have to grab it while you can. You take what you can get, 'cause it's here, and then...gone.

I only remember this guy because he's got a very distinctive voice and it must have stayed with me.

Yes there was a very Star Wars-y vibe about it too. I thought all the Neon and signage was very Blade Runner, while the casino was meant to be the canteen in Star Wars. I did get Fear and Loathing too, but I've never seen the full film either, just snippets. It was an homage of an episode.

I don't know! I'm thinking alternative universes, but it's weird that the name Coulson rings a bell with him, that he says some of the same lines, that he's a very similar personality type. He's essentially Coulson. I have enjoyed May's reaction to him, as she's usually so professional and emotionally cut-off.

I am enjoying this season a lot, and can't wait to see where it goes. I didn't mention it in the review, but Keller being taken over and having to be killed was really strong too.

                            • Inescapable was decent. Enjoyed the flashbacks though Simmons demon dark side was a bit random. Though even the worst parts of them are attracted to each other.

                              Badass Enoch!

So the Shrike and Sarge were on the Chrichom planet first...

I liked Fitz's reactions to all the big revelations he missed.

Still, the Earth storyline is way more interesting.

You can kinda tell they had to do a complete revamp after S5, maybe that's why it feels disjointed in parts.

Liked how they handled all the reveals to Fitz.My favorite though was Fitz learning he had a grandson at the end of the episode.lol

Can't wait to see if he gets to re-meet Deke at some point.

I assume the earth and space stories will converge by the end of the season.I think they started setting that up with the Chrichom planet

being visted by Sarge and his crew.
