I've read that I think. Lyndsay is a cook and spike and buffy role play in bar and there are hot springs?

No...not that one. Spike's in Anchorage (or somewhere - it's all the same in the snow). Buffy flies out from London. I think there's a character called Meg in it. It's by a well known fan-fic writer.

Winter Lights by the_moonmoth on AO3

It's only Buffy (she doesn't know Spike is still alive after the Hellmouth) but since she is at the North Pole there is lots and lots of snow.

Snow Day! I've just called in missing from work. How will I spend it? I think super natural S14 and EF have me covered. Anyone able to rec a fic where Buffy and Spike are snowed in or fighting a snow monster or something along those lines?

D'you have a shipping address? I'm thinking of offloading my youngest.

I am starting to despair over the news and even more so over what is not in the news. I mean, they are talking about the fire in Australia about two or three minutes in the German news each day. But seriously - considering what is happening here they should be talking about nothing else 24/. This is not only a fire. This is a catastrophe for the environment for the climate for the animal population for species diversity on this planet ... I get the feeling people are not looking properly. Why are Harry and Meghan even in the news, when something like this is happening simultaneously? Why is the Australian government not calling for international help?

We are in this together even if it is happening on the spot that is farther away from us than any other spot on this planet. But people just think "Oh, this is happening in Australia. Not in my neighborhood. It doesn't concern me."
I think people often avoid serious/unpleasant things that don't directly affect them because they don't feel able to do anything or just feel overwhelmed by their own problems too much to take on something so serious and big when anything they feel they could do would be so insignificant. Still, I'm going to look through all the donation options CBS News gave and try to actually do something from afar. It won't be much sadly, but anything can help just a little. Just the thought of the fear people/animals caught in this must be in distresses me.

    That's good to hear.

I wish I was a secret billionaire. There's a music producer, David Foster , it was his friend who is the Russian oligarch. I'm surprised the royal family is allowed to hang with Russian oligarchs. Justin Trudeau has said Canadians will foot their $850,000 security bill. Many people are not pleased.
