    I get that question a lot.

    It just takes a while to go through code but basically you can edit the template.html file in whatever theme you are using and tweak it to match your specifications.

        haha, poor JL, I used to get that question a lot, but usually tell people that simple line and that it's way too much to explain. Plus, there are tutorials on the coppermine forum.

        There are also many themes to download at that site.

        How to edit the template.html is up to you. Choose the style that comes close to what you want, copy it, and edit it. You need html knowledge to do so, and it's way to complicated to explain.

        But to change your skin, just go to your config/admin panel and select...
        "> Themes settings"

        good luck

          Right, Rosely. It really just takes some patience and some knowledge of html. It is too complicated to explain and to be honest, I did like two years agoi and I don't even remember what the original template looked like since I have modified it so drastically.

          There are also a config file I edited that specifies what some of the displays will look like and whatnot.

          I do remember there was a good amount of trial and error involved. I ust kept editing and uploading the template file until I saw what I wanted. It was a lot of little tweaks.

              Yeah, you just have to upload the new smilies into the smilies folder. Real easy. (Of course, if you want to add new emoticons that don't have a code already assigned to them it becomes lightly harder.)

                  Justin, if you go to the cutenews forums the have the answer there. It explains what you have to change in the coding in one of the config files. Just run a search for "smilies" or "emoticons" at that forum and it should pop up.

                      All HTML Questions

                      So, I have a question for website coding.

                      I was trying to put a texture on a new page. I tried to get a thumb of the texture, and then make it a link. I made sure that the files were in the right folders, so I don't know what's up. Here's the code I had:

                      <?
                      require("header.php");
                      ?>

                      <h1>Textures</h1>
                      <br /> <div class='texture'>
                      <a href='http://differentdimensions.taste-of-honey.net/art/textures/ddtexture1.jpg' target='_blank'>
                      <img src='art/thumbs/ddtexture1thumb' ALT='Texture'></a></div>

                      <?
                      require("footer.php");
                      ?>
                      Okay, and here's the page on my site:

                      http://differentdimensions.taste-of-...t/textures.php

                        We actually have an html thread in the fanart forum and this would be perfectly acceptable to post there.

                        But actually, you only forgot to add the .jpg at the end of the thumbnail.

                              Are you trying it in CSS or in the image tag? It should just be a matter of:
                              HTML Code:
                              <img src="imageurl" align="left" />text text text
                              That way the image would stay on the left while the text sticks the the right of the image.
                              would you do anything for me

                              buy a new diamond ring for me
